(This is a RP account for Arlin Grove, a character from the 1966 movie Nashville Rebel, Some of the info is my own headcanon because there wasn't a whole lot of canon to work it lol. I'm roleplaying him from the point of several years after the events of the movie)

Arlin Sherlock Grove was born and raised in Tennessee to British immigrates, the middle name stemming from the fact that both of his parents were fans of the Sherlock Holmes novels. After a stint in the Army during the Vietnam War, he returned back to Tennessee where he ended up in a one road town called Morgan's Corner where he met Molly. He and Molly got married before he decided to start his singing career. however shortly after the birth of his son, Arlin Jr, he had to being a musician on pause and move his little family back to England in order to take care of his parents(his parents having decided to move back around the same time Arlin joined the military).

By the time both his parents passed away, Arlin Jr was 7 and they had three more kids since, twin girls named Marion and Willow and a son, William. Since most of their kids were in school and they had an established enough life in England, they decided to just stay put as they didn't want to screw up the kids social life. Arlin did also wanted to get back into singing country so he started writing songs and performing in his spare time and in a year or so became one of the more popular enough singers in the UK.
